Salon Etiquette Policies
- Manage your time well; allow for a 3-4 hour gap between other engagements, appointments, and work shifts.
- If you arrive late, there will be a fee:
10 minutes late = $10,
15 minutes late = $15,
and if you're 20 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled.
- Additional guests will not be accommodated during your appointment.
- Refrain from using vulgar language and cursing, and be considerate of others.
-At Mane Authority, we exclusively use professional-grade products to ensure the best results for your hair. If you prefer to use your own products during your visit, please know that it won't affect the price of your service.
Tape-In and Micro-Bead Extension Policies
-Please follow the general salon policies regarding deposits, appointment cancellations.
Deep condition regularly.
Don't sleep with wet hair.
Be careful when using heated styling tools.
Be gentle when brushing your hair and the extensions!
General Salon Policies
- A 40% deposit is required within 30 minutes of booking for all services; otherwise, your booking will canceled.
Deposits: All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE
Canceling/Rescheduling Appointments: Canceled appointments must be rescheduled within 3 weeks to avoid forfeiting the deposit. After this period, a new deposit will be required.
Preparation: Please arrive with your hair free of previous styles or tangles. A $35 detangling fee per half hour will apply if needed.
Pricing: Prices may vary based on hair length and density.
Children’s Policy:
Children 6+ must remain seated during the process. If a child is unable to sit still or becomes too uncomfortable, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment and retain the deposit.
Late Cancellations/No-Shows: A $40 fee applies for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment or for no-shows.
Cancellation Process: Cancellations are accepted during business hours only via call or text at 647-289-6263.
No refunds will be issued upon the completion of the service. Please inform Alicia of any dissatisfaction at the time of the service or within 2-5 hours after leaving via Aliciagibson@maneauthority.ca.
Hair Color Service Policies:
- All color/chemical services can only be performed on hair that has been unwashed for at least a week; two weeks is recommended. This includes relaxers.
- We require a photo of your current hair and a reference photo of your desired style. Please pay attention to our automated texts!
- Prices are subject to change based on the reference photos sent for the desired style.
- If additional product is used, there will be an extra charge per bowl of color.
- Depending on the color, two salon visits might be required.
